William Lee (Bill) Creighton, 72, of 668 Lookout Tower Rd Blacksburg, SC, passed away June 3rd, at his residence. A native of Rock Hill, SC he was the son of the late James William Creighton and Ollie Munn Creighton Black and the step son of the late Robert Black. The husband of Linda Long Creighton for 43 years, he was also a graduate of Rock Hill High School, Class of 1968. Bill also earned degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics from York Technical College. He was an Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Vietnam Era. Bill retired from Frito Lay as a mechanical repairman with the Maintenance Department. Bill and Linda were members of Eastview Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Hopewell Baptist Church, Blacksburg when able. An avid Clemson Tiger fan, he was also a car enthusiast, riding horses when younger and traveling, especially to the mountains, in later years. Bill also was the loving father to 3 "fur babies", Baxter, Coco, and Dabo.
In addition to his wife, cherishing his memory is his daughter, Leesa Creighton Iannone, Hickory Grove and sisters; Cheryl Pettus (Alvin), Ann C. Cooper (Russell), Cathy B. Matthews (Robert-deceased), and brother; Robert Brian Black (Marty), all of Rock Hill. He also has three grandchildren; Lexi, Carlee and Nicholas Iannone.
He is preceded in death by his son, Alex Creighton as well as his parents, James William Creighton and Robert and Ollie Munn Black.

A Memorial service will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021, 4:00pm, at Eastside Baptist Church, 318 N. Jones Avenue, Rock Hill, with Rev. Nick Vinesett officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00pm at the church.
