Mr. Timothy “Shine” Anderson Moss, age 56, of 515 S. Shelby Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina passed away August 16, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Mr. Moss was born in Gaffney, South Carolina, January 9, 1966, a son of Mr. George and Sandra Moss. He was a 1984 graduate of Blacksburg High School and attended Spartanburg Methodist College. Tim “Shine” was a loyal Clemson Tiger fan and an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and golfing. He was loved by all and a friend to many. Shine will be most remembered for his love of his family and his resilience; he harbored an inner-strength and fight that will carry on in his memory.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter Whitney Bishop of Blacksburg, South Carolina, a daughter Gracie Moss of Gaffney, South Carolina, and a grandson Sayden Bishop of Blacksburg, South Carolina. Mr. Moss is also survived by his siblings, brother Jeff Moss and his wife Michelle of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, sister Melody Smith and her husband Brian of Blacksburg, South Carolina and their children Tanner Smith of Greenville, South Carolina, and Tori Smith and fiancé Brandon Gettys of Gaffney, South Carolina, and brother Kevin Moss and his wife Tonya of Spartanburg, South Carolina and a special uncle, James Moss, who was a father to Tim also.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Hopewell Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the church with Rev. Ben Cook officiating and Rev. Eddie Bolin. Interment will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Moss Scholarship Fund, Hopewell Baptist Church.
