Timmy Dale Hughey

Timmy Dale Hughey, 47, of Blacksburg, SC passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Cherokee Medical Center. He was the son of the late Eddie Dale Hughey and Patricia Patterson Hughey. Surviving is his wife, Tammy Daggerheart Hughey, sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Todd Humphries, aunts and uncles, Penny and Mark Patterson, Tillie and Jim Cook, Jill and Bill Rice, numerous cousins, and extended family. Also surving is his wife’s grandmother, Sue Daggerheart who Timmy helped take care of.

Timmy graduated from Blacksburg High School and was employed at TForce Freight, formerly known as UPS Freight. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved farming, fishing, and hunting (alligators, deer, and turkey). He was known to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and those in need in the community, but would never ask for help himself. He had so many friends, most he considered to be his brothers, who he loved dearly.

Graveside services will be held at Frederick Memorial Gardens, Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 1:00 PM, with receiving of friends and family to follow the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741 or via https://donate3.cancer.org.
