Shirley Ann Anthony

Shirley Ann Anthony, 82, of 210 Claudes Rd, Blacksburg, SC, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Elvia Anthony. Left to cherish her memory are a son, Curtiss Rippy (Christy), a daughter Sherry Walker (Clint), grandchildren Danielle Parasiliti, Justin Rippy, Lacey Long and great grandchildren Emma Kennington and Layla Long.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Buddy Anthony, Kenneth Anthony and a sister Jessie Anthony.

She was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church, a free spirit, enjoyed horses, the equestrian center, fishing, camping, the Kings Mountain Park and flowers.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, Monday, August 19, 2024, at 11 am with Rev. Michael McCurry officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.

All other times the family will be at their respective homes.
