Roy Leon McKinney, 60, of 422 Burnt Mill Rd., passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Elizabeth S. McKinney, a sister, Barbara S. Rushen, and a brother, Tommy "Wewant" McKinney all of Mint Hill, NC. His special friends Johnny Walker (Sandy) and family & all of his Creek Family. He was preceded in death by a brother, K.D. McKinney.
He loved to dance, the outdoors, fishing, woodcarving, shooting pool, Nascar, an avid sports fan and a North Carolina Tar Heels fan.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025, 2 pm at Johnny Walker's Burnt Mills, 422 Burnt Mill Rd., Blacksburg, SC 29702. Rev. Phillip Martin will be officiating and music by The Creekers.
