Robert Lee Hance, Sr.

Robert Lee Hance, Sr., of Blacksburg, SC, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022. He was the husband of Shirley C. Hance and son of the late William and Ada Helms Hance. Left to cherish his memory in addition to his wife are a son Robbie L Hance Jr. (Tiffany), 2 grandchildren Morgan G. Hance & Madalyn H. Hance of Gaffney, SC. His sisters Linda L. Hensley, Barbara Spencer, Susie Hefner (Joe), Lona Pauline Greenway, a brother, Harold Hance (Barbara) and his best friend J.J.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Scott Hance.

He retired from Overnite Transportation as a driver, was a member of Broad River Baptist Church, Masonic Buffalo Lodge 202, and a Shriner. He enjoyed Nascar, classic country music and his Harley Davidson.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 12, 2022, at 11:00am, at Clingman Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Michael Owen officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
