Paul Dane Swick

Paul Dane Swick, 45, Blacksburg, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020. He was the husband of Carolyn Costner Swick and the son of Timothy Wayne and Karen Ann Higgins Williams, all of Blacksburg. A native of Cherokee County, he graduated from Gaffney Senior High School in 1993.  Paul was employed with BMW where he worked in the body shop. He was a true family man and huge wrestling fan. In addition to wrestling he enjoyed watching football and was a Dallas Cowboys and Clemson Tiger fan. He also enjoyed fishing. 

In addition to his wife and parents, cherishing his memory are his sons; Tyler Swick, Clover, SC,  Austin and Tristan Swick, both of Blacksburg, daughters; Breanna Swick, of York, SC and Aubrey Swick, Blacksburg and 1 granddaughter. Additional family include his sister Shannon Boling and brother Eric Bryson. 

Paul is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Fernandez and a brother, Shanon Bryson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held graveside, Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 2:00pm at Mountain View Cemetery, Blacksburg. with Rev. Jimmy Earp officiating. At other times the family will be at the residence. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the family at 117 Dome Road, Lot 79, Blacksburg, SC 29702 to honor his wife and children.
