Odell (Ricky) Junior Hamrick
Obituary
Mr. Odell (Ricky) Junior Hamrick, 66, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 4, 2022. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Ben and Mary Sue Dover Hamrick. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He also enjoyed fishing whenever he had the opportunity.
Cherishing his memory are brothers, Donald (Deborah) Hamrick, Blacksburg, SC and William R. McMurray (Diane), Shelby, NC. He also had numerous nieces and nephews, one special niece served as his caregiver in the home, Kelly Breakfield.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Victor Hamrick.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, April 4, 6:00-7:30pm at White Columns Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, April 6, 11:00 AM, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Sellars officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Ronnie Patterson, Randy Pruitt, Jason McNeeley, Nick Davis, and Broadus Thompson.
