Mary Frances Sapoch Owens, 82, of Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 11, 2018, at her home. Born in Atlanta, GA, she was married to the late Daniel A. Owens, Sr. and was the daughter of the late James Glen and Mary Anderson Sapoch. She was Human Resource/Office Manager for Burton Dixie/Webster Springs Corp. After retirement, she worked at MediFare Drugs. She loved the Lord and her family. These were the things she lived for. She was a lifelong member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was a member of the Mary Gunn SS Class and a member of the choir.
She is survived by her granddaughter - Danielle Owens Cooper and husband, James Marshall Cooper, of Blacksburg; great-grandchildren - Jeffrey Daves, Nathan Cooper, Marshall L. Cooper, and Shawna Cooper; great great-grandchildren - Jaelyn and Addilee Daves, Azura Wang and Wyatt Ray; and daughter-in-law - Robin Owens Dover. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son - Danny Owens and her brothers - James Glen Sapoch II and Wince Edward Sapoch.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 1-2:00 PM, at Hopewell Baptist Church, Blacksburg, SC. A Celebration Of Life Service will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Bolin and Chaplain Kenny Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers serving are Jeffrey Daves, Nate Cooper, Shawna Cooper and Marshall Cooper.
