Mack David Propst

Mack David Propst, 65, of Dallas, NC passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late David Henry Propst, Jr and Iris Jean Jenkins Propst. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Susan Blanton (Nathan) of Dallas, NC and Amie Thomas (Bennie) of Blacksburg, SC; seven Grandchildren, Kylee Propst, Fletcher Blanton, Phillip Haney (Kristin), Dillion Haney (Jordan), Dustin Haney, Gage Thomas, and Kenny Roark; and six Great Grandchildren, Bethany Blanton, Abby Blanton, Sayge Haney, Olivia Haney, Mila Haney, and Piper Haney. Also surviving are two Brothers; Tommy Duncan (Janice) of Shelby, NC and Tim Propst (Cindi) of Dallas, NC and one Sister; Frances "Cookie" Propst of Dallas, NC; four Nieces, Farrah Whisnant (Brad) of Shelby, NC, Meleena Propst of Charlotte, NC, Paula Propst of Long Beach, Ca, Katie Belk of Dallas, NC, and one Nephew; Chad Duncan (Brooke) of Shelby, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark David Propst and wife Marie T. Propst.

An independent truck driver by trade, he was a former Mason who enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, driving his 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck, and loved his family.

A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, 10 AM at the Funeral Home. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held, 11 AM, in the Mausoleum of Clingman Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Fain Farmer officiating.

All other times the family will be at their respective homes.
