Lorrena Emily Newton

Lorrena Emily Newton, 44, of Gaffney, SC, passed away unexpectedly November 1, 2025. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Noah Holcomb, Carter Holcomb, and Layla Blackwell, all from Gaffney, SC, her parents James K Newton of Tampa, FL and Carolyn M. Newton of Gaffney, SC, and relatives, Kim Morrow of Englewood, Fl, Lew D. Morrow, Jr. of Gideon, Tx. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Josh Jennings (Kimberly) of Gaffney, SC and Lexa Jennings of Englewood, Fl. She was preceded in death by a son Westley Blackwell.

Born in Naples, Fl, she attended Gaffney High School and enjoyed reading books on Religion, being an active participant of Celebrate Recovery at Elevation Church, art, and modeling.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, 3:00pm at Corinth Baptist Church,190 Corinth Rd., Gaffney, SC 29340 with Dr. Steven Oglesby officiating.
