Linda Willis Hawkins of 131 Killian Dr., Blacksburg, SC passed away Friday, October 6, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late James Grady Willis and Willie Mae Willis and was married to the late James W. Hawkins Sr. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Gary Moore (Jennifer) of Blacksburg and Todd Smith (Starlena) of Shelby, NC. Daughters Aleta Crouse and Elizabeth Hawkins of Blacksburg and a sister Teresa Hopler of Rutherfordton, NC. 17 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son James Hawkins Jr and a brother James Grady Willis.
She was a member of New Song Community Church, worked in textiles for a number of years, enjoyed camping, boat riding and dearly loved her family.
A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held, Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 6-8pm at the funeral home with a Celebration of Life Service at 7pm at the funeral home with Doug Beckham and Rev. Derek McAbee officiating.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to New Song Community Church, 1518 York Rd, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
The family will be at their homes.
