Kathy Harrison Moore

 Kathy Harrison Moore, 67, of Blacksburg, SC passed away peacefully July 8, 2023, at the Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, SC. She was married to the late Bobby "Bob" Ray Moore and daughter of the late Melvin and Lucy Jones Harrison. Left to cherish her memory are her son David H. Smith (Lisa Ann) of Blacksburg, SC, daughter Tina Pollard (Kris) of Spartanburg, SC and 4 grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother. Mike Harrison.

She attended Old Rugged Cross Church in Shelby, NC. In addition to serving the Lord, she loved her family, the outdoors, camping, fishing, hummingbirds, lighthouses, shells, the beach, was an avid Clemson Tiger fans and was known for her famous " Rooster Balls" deviled eggs recipe. She was also the Secretary of the Shelby Shag Club and a travel counselor with the State of South Carolina at the Blacksburg Welcome Center.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 10 - 11 am at the funeral home with a Graveside Service to follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens in Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Jerry Allen officiating.
