John Charles "Charlie" Falls, 85, 866 Kings Creek Dr., Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord November 23, 2018, at home. He was the husband of Dorothy Alexander Falls and son of the late A. Z. and Callie Martin Falls. He was retired from Cherokee Consolidated. He attended Smyrna ARP Church. He loved his family, fishing and gardening.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two sons - John Marshall Falls, Tijeras, NM, and Charles Leslie Falls(Linda), Piedmont Springs, Blacksburg, SC; one daughter - Kristie Elizabeth Falls, Blacksburg, SC; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother - Robert Meek Falls, Sumter, SC; and one sister - Margaret Jane Falls, Gaffney, SC. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers - A. Z. Falls, Jr., David Kenneth Falls and Glenn McGill Falls; and sisters - Pauline Falls Wilburn, Bennie Falls Stackhouse, and Sarah Falls Hammett.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 25, 2018, from 3-5:00 PM, at White Columns. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, November 26, 2018, 11:00 AM, at Smyrna ARP Church, Smyrna, SC, with Rev. Jim Mitchell and Rev. Alan Morrow officiating. At other times, the family will be at the home.
Pallbearers serving are Rick Falls, Ricky Falls, Mike Falls, Justin Broome, Travis Swann and David Wheeler.
