Joanne J. Beam

Mrs. Joanne J. Beam has passed to her new life with God on Monday March 2, 2026, after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Hezekiah "Kia" Seay and Mrs. Estelle Mageline Revan Seay, born on the 16th day of July 1938. She came to have six sons of two marriages to the late Dean Adair, having four boys, Howard Keith Adair of Spartanburg, SC, Bryan Alan Adair and his loving wife of Greenville, SC, the late Joseph Adair, and the late Michael Adair. On April 15th, 1967, she then wed the late Rev. Jessie Lee Beam Jr., having two sons Jessie Lee Beam III of Greenville, SC and Christopher L. Beam of Pelzer, SC. She also had many grand and great grandchildren.

Joanne alongside her husband Rev. Beam were active within prison ministries in the late 80s to the early 2000s. After the passing of her husband in 2004 she was always on the path to lead others to Christ. She will always be remembered for her shining light, radiant identity, and her unwavering zeal for God.

A memorial service will be given by her Pastor, Rev. Shane Harris of Church of the Living God in Clifton, SC of Spartanburg County. This service is yet to be announced. Please contact the church for more details.
