Jessie Geneva Henderson

Jessie Geneva Henderson, 86, of 205 E Carolina St., Blacksburg, passed away peacefully, June 18, 2024, at Cherokee Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Everett Hamrick and Lucy Mae Weaver Hamrick.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters Wanda A. Barkley (Talmadge) of Blacksburg, SC and Alice A. Douglas (J) of Shelby, NC. 6 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Robert C. Arnold and Roscoe T. Henderson, daughter Brenda L. Arnold, son Frank E. Arnold, brothers B.H. Hamrick, Kenneth Hamrick, Robert Hamrick and Knox Hamrick, sister Catherine Hamrick, granddaughter Beverly McGinnis, great grandson Byron Clive and great granddaughter Felicity Douglas.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 2 pm with Rev. David Melcher officiating at Clingman Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at their respective homes.
