Jessica Dawn Sanders

Jessica Dawn Sanders, 48, of Wellford, SC passed away peacefully at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC, August 13, 2024, surrounded by family.

Jessica leaves behind her two sons Sean Dalton Murdy and Christian Leonard Dudley. Her father, Victor Murdy and stepmother Carol Murdy and siblings Jaqueline Martin, Carmella Petty, Veronica Root and William Murdy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Maxine "Millie" Ledbetter and her grandson Sean Michael Murdy.

Jessica had a love for collecting teddy bears, flowers, seashells, and enjoyed watching the ocean. She loved animals, especially dolphins and dogs. She was very loved and an amazing woman, a rare individual, someone dear to everyone she has met. She kept such a positive mindset during her battle with cancer. We admire her strength, love her dearly, and will miss her every day.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Garden Temple Assembly of God, 1335 W. Cherokee St., in Blacksburg SC, on Saturday, August 31st at 2:00 pm.
