Gloria Jean (Wisher) McClain

Gloria "MeMaw" Wisher McClain,82, of 899 S Charleston St passed away peacefully at her residence, November 24, 2023. She was married to the late Louis McClain and daughter of the late Robert and Lily Wisher. Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Lisa McClain, grandsons Andrew Stiles and Lucas Stuard, Stepdaughter, Patricia McClain and Stepson Joseph McClain and grandchildren Jennifer Moss, Jessica Moss, Josh Moss, Jerica Moss, Juliet Moss and Joseph McClain. She is also survived by one sister Barbara W. Gunn. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sons James McClain and Robert Deck, and siblings Mary Lou Hamrick, Dorothy Wood, Georgie Runyuns, Lucille Myers, Leroy Wisher, Lloyd Wisher, Dean Wisher and Buford Wisher.

Mrs. McClain was a knitter and retired from National Textiles and Monsanto. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing and loved her family.

The family will be at their respective homes and will have a receiving of friends Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 2-5 pm at 899 S Charleston St. Blacksburg, SC 29702
