David Lee Easterling

David Lee Easterling, 65, of 310 Chesterfield Dr Shelby, NC, peacefully passed away Tuesday evening, October 6th, at his residence.  

Born July 28, 1955, to the late Elizabeth (Mathison) and Alfred Leroy Easterling, Jr. David was a graduate of Bennettsville High School in Bennetsville, SC, later furthering his education and receiving a Bachelor's Degree. David was also a Veteran of the United States Navy.

David worked as a custodian for the Cherokee County School District, most recently at Blacksburg High School. In his free time David was an avid University of Georgia fan, loved walking, and listening to his favorite musicians Matchbox Twenty and Bob Seger.

Left to cherish his memory are Fiancee Rachel Bell of the home, son David 'Lee' Easterling, Jr of Columbia, SC, Granddaughter Heaton Easterling, Niece Stephanie Rakestraw, and Sister Michele Stuart Hardy.
