Danny Hope Martin

Danny Hope Martin, 68, of Scott Dr., Gastonia, NC, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

Formerly of Blacksburg, SC, he was married to Leylonne Martin of the home and son of the late Marvin H. Martin and Martha Starnes.

He attended Blacksburg High School, owned his own boat repair shop and loved his family.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife are his children: Kevin Wicks (Maria), Rocky Martin (Lacie), Ashley Martin and Shane Martin. His grandchildren and great grand children, siblings: Joe Adams, Melissa Carpenter (Doug) and Roy Dean Martin (Mary).

A Receiving of Family and Friends will be held January 1, 2026 from 4 - 5:30pm at the funeral home.

All other times the family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his funeral fund at White Columns Funeral Service.
