Dallas Parker Obituary

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Dallas Keith Parker, infant son of Jordan and Alice Parker, went back to Jesus on Monday August 5, 2024.  Dallas was born on July 29, 2024, giving his family a tiny glimpse of God’s miracles while living on this Earth for only 7 short days.

Our tiny boy was surrounded by so much love and so many family members.  Left to tell his story and cherish his life are parents Jordan and Alice Parker, big sister Saylor Parker, Maternal Grandmother Jill Collins Beam, Paternal Grandparents Cline and Kristy Parker, Great Grandparents Eddie and Brenda Parker and Kent and Dolores Morris, along with so many family members and friends who loved him beyond measure.  Rocking our Baby Dallas in Heaven are his Papa Randy Beam, Great Grandparents Jackie and Anita Collins and Broad and Irene Beam.  We are sure that if there was ever a fight in Heaven it is over who gets to hold our baby next.

The family would like to thank each and every nurse and doctor within the Spartanburg Regional Hospital NICU.  The care they extended to Dallas and his mother Alice were extraordinary and there will never be enough words to express our family’s gratitude.  Please continue to pray for all of Dallas’ tiny friends who remain in the NICU and for their families- they are each and every one a true miracle from God.

A celebration of Dallas Keith’s teeny tiny life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday August 10 in the Beam Family Cemetery, 126 Beam Road, Blacksburg, SC.

The family will be gathered at the home of Eddie and Brenda Parker, 525 Peeler Creek Road, Gaffney, SC.  Donations in memory of Dallas Keith Parker can be made to First Baptist Church of Gaffney Preschool Program and Blacksburg Backpack Ministries at Broad River Church in Blacksburg, SC.

“Tis Better To Have Loved and Lost Than To Have Never Loved At All”. Our Baby Dallas will be greatly missed but will live in all of our hearts forever.  Until we hold him in our arms again, we know that he is safe in the arms of Jesus.
