Charles Thomas Moss

Charles Moss, 78, of Blacksburg, SC passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Greenville, SC. Born in Cherokee County, Mr. Moss was the husband of Janie Moss, and the son of the late J.D. Moss and Ellen Lanier Moss. He worked as a meat cutter, was an avid farmer, sausage maker, and was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Moss is survived by his step-son Nathan Pressley (Jeanna) and two grand daughters, Abigail and Audrey Pressley of Gaffney, SC.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

A receiving of friends and family will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 3:30-4:00 PM at Rose Hill Baptist Church, Gaffney, SC with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4 PM. Rev. Eddie Hardin and Rev. Tom Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Blacksburg, SC.

Pallbearers serving are Michael Snipes, Ed Wooten, Rusty Moss, Ricky Martin, Dustin Meadows, and Kevin Patton.
