Chalmers Earl Barnes, 83, of Gaffney, SC died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at his residence. Born August 17, 1940, in Union, SC to the late Wiley and Lenora Frazier Barnes. He was a US Veteran serving with the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and playing poker. Left to cherish is memory are 2 children, Sheila Anne Zona (Sabatino) of Wallingford, CT and Chalmers Earl Barnes II of the home. Grandchildren, Jutin Pittman, Jody Best, Sabatino A. Zona, Nathan Zona, Haley Barnes, and Kaleb Carroll.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his wife Kathy Bell Barnes, and Daughter, Theresa Lynn Barnes.
