Carol Louise Wheeldon, 82, of Inman, South Carolina, after 33 years of separation, she peacefully and comfortably rejoined her late husband, Gene. She was born to loving parents, the late Bernice and Edward Dixon on March 19, 1938, in Larned, Kansas.
She loved doing word search puzzles and coloring. She was such a joy to be around. While at Inman Health Care, all of the staff grew to love her. She was one of the strongest women you would have ever met. While raising her three children, she went full time through an accelerated registered nursing degree program.
She is welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Gene, her mother and father, Bernice and Edward, and her brother Larry.
She is survived by her son, David and his wife Renee, daughter, Joy and her boyfriend Don, daughter, Sandra an her husband Steve, her sister Janet, and her sister Sharon and her husband Rick. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittany, Talon and Aspen, two great grandchildren, Carolina and Natalie.
The family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date in Kansas.
