Carl "Ricky" Neal Dover

Carl "Ricky" Neal Dover, 65, of Blacksburg, SC passed away unexpectedly in Shelby, NC. He was the son of the late Carl and Lorene Martin Dover. Left to cherish his memory are sons Jeremy Kyle Dover (Mona) and Shane Gunnin, daughters Crystal Hayes and Chelsea Dover, and 4 grandchildren. Brothers, James Martin (Brenda) and Donnie Dover and a sister Susie Carroll (Mike). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Dover and son Christopher "Butch" Gunnin.

He was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church and worked for Carolina Cotton in Gaffney, SC.

Receiving of friends and family will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, at Smyrna Baptist Church from 3-4 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will follow, 4 PM at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Mike Carroll, Jeremy Blackwell, Darrell Batchelor, Jacob Black, Gary Carroll and Carmine Brown.
