Ben David Gunn

Ben David Gunn, 90, of 835 99 Island Rd, Blacksburg, SC passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was the son of Jesse A. Gunn and Delia Rippy Gunn and the husband of Barbara Wisher Gunn. Left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Beverly Smith (Sam) of Gastonia, NC, brothers, Charles Gunn of Blacksburg, SC and Jesse Gunn (Yevette) of Gaffney, SC, a sister, Joyce King of Myrtle Beach, SC, a grandson Brandon Smith (Lauren) and great grandson Noah Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Paul Gunn.

He was a proud US Army veteran, serving in the Korean War, employed by Wendell Fabrics for over 45 years and a longtime member of the Blacksburg Church of God.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 1 - 2 pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2 pm, with Rev Kevin Hand and Rev. Linda Willis officiating at the Blacksburg Church of God with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

The Family will be at the residence at 835 99 Island Rd.
