Barbara Jean Harvey

Barbara Jean Harvey, 66, of Gaffney, SC. passed away October 31, 2023, at Cherokee Medical Center. She was the wife of Samuel Charles Harvey and daughter of Shirley Bolin Pennington and the late Niles Pennington. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Ramie Pennington (Jessica), Eric Harvey and daughter Stacy Harvey, all of Gaffney, SC. Her grandchildren, Dakota Pennington, Joshua Bratton and Marlana Pennington, all of Gaffney, SC. Her great grandchildren Jaden Robertson and Hayden Pennington. Her sisters, Mary Wyatt (Robert), Linda Cobb (Chris), Judy Puckett, Debbie White (Bill), Jennifer Messer (Joe), Tracie Hall (Sam), Amelia Pennington and brother Darrell Pennington. And numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister Jamie Mullinax.

She attended Garden Temple Assembly of God in Blacksburg, SC, lover her family, grand dogs, church, lighthouses, walking in the rain and babysitting.

 A Visitation for Family and Friends will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, from 12:30 - 1:30 at Garden Temple Assembly of God Church with A Celebration of Life service to follow with Rev. Danny Marshburn officiating.

The family will be at 1086 Dravo Rd., Blacksburg, SC.
