Julia Ann (Simpson) Kise

Julia Ann Kise, 76, of Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with our Lord and Savior July 26, 2018, at Peachtree Centre, Gaffney, SC. Born is Concord, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Rilla Rockwood Simpson of Grover, NC. Ann was a retired textile worker and enjoyed playing pool at the Blacksburg and Gaffney Senior Centers. She loved her family and was a member of Blacksburg Church Of God.

Left to cherish her memory are two daugthers - Tammy Kise of Blacksburg and Nancy Kise Phillips of Gaffney; grandchildren - Summer Mahood and husband, John, of Virginia Beach, VA, Dylan Phillips and Shana Phillips of Gaffney, Timothy Moss and Jennifer Mertz both of Blacksburg; great-grandchildren - Harley and Landon Mertz, Hailee and Brian Moss all of Blacksburg; and one sister - Ethel White of Gastonia, NC. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers - Lawrence Simpson of Grover and Franklin Gardner of Blacksburg; and one sister, Gladys Spearmen of Blacksburg.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 2-3:00 PM at White Columns. A Graveside Celebration Of Life Service will begin at 3:15 PM, at Clingman Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Quitman Hand officiating. At other times, the family will be at 100 Brookwood Dr., Gaffney, SC.

Pallbearers serving are Dylan Phillips, Loyd Moss, Jr., Brian Moss, Paul White, Roger White and Cody White.

The family would like to thank everyone at the Peachtree Centre and Compassus Hospice for their care and support.
