James "Jamie" William Hawkins, Jr.

James "Jamie" William Hawkins, Jr., 43, of 131 Killian St.,  Blacksburg, SC, passed away July 23, 2018, at his residence.  He was the husband of Sarah Hicks Hawkins and son of James and Linda Willis Hawkins of Blacksburg.  He was of the Baptist Faith.  He loved his family, fishing, electronics, baseball, football and racing.  He worked with Collins Construction and Mobile Home Movers.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife and parents, are two sons - Dylan Hawkins of Blacksburg and Clint Davis of Gaffney; three daughters - Jadah Porter(Cody), Jadye Jones and Anna Hawkins all of Gaffney; two brothers - Gary Moore(Jennifer) of Blacksburg and Todd Smith(Star) of Shelby, NC; two sisters - Lizzy Hawkins of the home and Aleta Crowe(Dustin) of Lincolnton, NC; mother-in-law - Margaret Hicks of Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents - Grady and Willa Mae Willis and his paternal grandparents - John Ken and Addie Lea Hawkins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 3-4:00 PM at White Columns.  A Celebration Of Life Service will begin at 4:00 PM with Rev. Charles Reynolds officiating.  At other times, the family will be at the home.
