Harold Davis Obituary

Harold Windell Davis, 79, 1147 Champion Ferry Rd. Gaffney, SC, passed away February 16, 2018 at home.  Born in Rutherford County, NC, he is the son of the late Early Kyle Martin and Alma Estelle Davis.  He was retired from Hoescht Celanese.  He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.  He loved horseback riding and Nascar racing.

He is survived by one daughter - Jeannie Davis(Lyn Clary); one step-daughter - Lisa Smith(Jerry); three sons - Johnny Kyle Davis(Carol Stevenson), Brandon Windell Davis(Erin) and Martin Lee Davis(Cari Langston); eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;  and sisters - Margaret Walker, Nettie Reynolds, Dorothy Sentell and May Proctor.  In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by one grandson - Kyle Neely Davis; sister - Frances Blalock; and brothers - Marshall Davis, James Martin, Bud Martin, and one at birth. 

The family will receive friends Monday, February 19, 2018, from 1-2:00 PM, at Fairview Baptist Church, Gaffney, SC.  A Celebration Of Life Service will begin at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Harold Johnson officiating.  At other times, the family will be at 2862 Camp Creek Church Road, Mooresboro, NC.
