Crawford Lee Spencer

Crawford Lee Spencer, 54, 490 Wren Wray Road,  Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord, October 28, 2017, at Spartanburg Hospital For Restorative Care.  He is the son of Thad Lee Spencer of Milford, VA, and Linda Martin Spencer of the home.  Lee is a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.  He was a former manager of Friedman's Jewelers, served 20 years with the Gaffney Police Reserves and worked  25 years with the Gaffney Police Department.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Carrie Spencer of Milford, VA; his sister - Melinda Spencer Humphries and husband, Jim, of Lattimore, NC; and his nieces - Becky Humphries and Lisa Humphries both of Atlanta, GA.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents - Crawford Ferguson and Rena Smith Spencer; his maternal grandparents - Wilburn and Rena Parker Martin; and his maternal great-grandparents - Cletus and Theresa Peeler Parker.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 30, 2017, from Noon-2:00 PM, at Hopewell Baptist Church.  A Celebration Of Life Service will begin at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Eddie Bolin officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Police Honors.  At other times, the family will be at the home.  

Pallbearers serving are Larry Wallace, Shad McDaniel, Sam Rumfelt, Woody Wallace, Chris Skinner, Virgil Hampton ad Rick Turner.
